Conditions of Golden Rescue’s ‘Wishbone Lottery’ 2025-26
- Draw is open to Ontario residents who are 18 years of age or older. Maximum of 5,000 tickets (odds of winning are based on number of tickets sold)
- Grand Prize is ‘Dinner for Two Anywhere in the World’: $30,000 travel voucher to be used as chosen by the winner + $1,000 cash. Max. value: $31,000
- Second Prize is a $5,000 travel voucher to be used as chosen by the winner + $2,000 cash. Max value: $7,000
- Third Prize is a $2,000 Viamede Resort (Stoney Lake, ON) gift certificate.
- Tickets are available NOW and will be sold until January 10, 2026 by Golden Rescue volunteers. Payment for tickets must be received in full for a ticket to be valid.
- The draw will be made on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at 12 noon at Elmvale Community Hall, 33 Queen Street West, Elmvale, ON L0L 1P0. The drum holding all sold tickets will be spun at least three times before tickets are drawn by an arm’s length third-party.
- Winners will be notified by telephone and mail and consent to the use of their names, addresses, comments, and photographs for Golden Rescue’s promotional purposes without further compensation.
- This contest is subject to all applicable federal, provincial, and municipal laws. All lottery proceeds will be used by Golden Rescue for the care of Golden Retrievers.
- The travel vouchers/gift certificate have no cash value and cannot be exchanged for cash and the winners release Golden Rescue from any liability, for any loss, damage or claims caused by or resulting from the contest or prizes.
