Don’t miss the 2026 Golden Rescue Picnic!

Please join us ~ two and four-legged, for another fun-filled Picnic at the beautiful Viamede Resort! This year’s picnic theme is inspired by the excitement of international sport and the spirit of togetherness as we introduce:

The Golden Games

Expect a day filled with: 

• Country-themed activity stations 
• Golden Games competitions 
• ‘Pawsports’ stamps and prizes 
• BBQ lunch & social time 
• A giant group photo of Goldens 

To close the day, join our Sporty Paws Best Dressed Showcase. We would love to see our Goldens dressed as: 

• Athletes
• Team mascots
• Sports fans and tailgaters
• Sports commentators
• Soccer balls or sports equipment
• Country colours and jerseys
• World Cup-inpsired outfits

There will be prizes for categories such as: 

• Most convincing athelete
• Best tailgating/fan outfit
• Gold medal goofball (most likely to retrieve the wrong ball OR most likely to run the wrong way)

Start planning your Golden’s sporty outfit while jerseys and World Cup gear are everywhere this summer!
