Who knew yesterday’s empties could help save tomorrow’s Goldens?

Thanks to the initiative of one of our amazing volunteers, Golden Rescue is now part of a recycling program at Cleveland’s House Marina on beautiful Lake Rosseau in Muskoka. The marina sells beer, wine and spirits and they also accept returns. Better yet, the proceeds from returned containers are donated to Golden Rescue.

It’s an easy way to help give deserving Goldens a second chance. If you have a cottage near Cleveland’s House, simply drop off your empties and let your recycling dollars go to work.

And why stop there? If your local marina, general store or bottle return depot doesn’t have a similar program, consider approaching them about starting one.

A few empty bottles may not seem like much, but together they can help with the cost of veterinary care and change lives…one Golden at a time.
