Hi everyone! My name is Bella and I’m an 8-year-old girl with a Golden heart and perhaps a little mystery in the family tree. Someone clearly added a splash of something lovely to the recipe. The recipe card, unfortunately, is missing. My foster mom says I’m so easy to be with. I’m friendly, gentle, laid-back, and happiest when I’m included in whatever my people are doing. A car ride? Count me in. A little adventure? Absolutely. Sitting in the backyard watching the world go by? Finally…someone who understands my busy schedule. I love people, get along with other furry friends, including cats, and have a happy little bounce in my step when something delights me. I could stand to lose about 10 pounds, so regular sniffaris and sensible portions will help put a little more spring in that step. I also stop to smell the flowers. At my age, I understand that a good sniffari should never be rushed. My manners are coming along nicely, although ‘come’ still needs work. I generally walk well on leash; however, I may pull when I spot a potential new friend or a squirrel with questionable intentions. Gentle reminders help me refocus. Having my feet handled isn’t my favourite activity, although I’m getting more comfortable with that. I’m good in the house, rarely bark, and have managed five hours on my own without issue. My wish, though, is for someone who’s home much of the time. A secure backyard would make me happy as would a friendly furry companion. Whatever went into my family tree, I know exactly where I belong…right beside my family. Now I just need to find you.
