Hello, everyone. My name is Beau and I’m a boy who’s just about to turn one. Pretty young to be a collector…but I am. I’m a toy collector. I collect anything I can proudly carry around the yard before arranging it with the rest of my treasures. I’m not possessive…I simply believe every great collection deserves a curator. I’m a happy, friendly boy with a big personality, a big body, and an even bigger supply of energy. I love people, car rides, playing, running, and chewing on my favourite bone. I’m comfortable being left for a few hours and I’m not much of a barker unless I have something important to announce. Now, for the fine print. Until recently, I had never been walked on a leash, so my sniffaris are a work-in-progress. I’m strong, I pull, and if a squirrel appears, you may briefly wonder whether your arm is still attached. I’m learning and I’ve already improved; however, my new family must be strong and committed to continued training. I’m also working on jumping, mouthing, counter-surfing, and the general concept that enthusiasm is not always a substitute for manners. If I don’t receive enough exercise and stimulation, I may even try my paw at interior redesign. In other words, I’m not looking for a family who wants a finished product. I’m looking for someone who sees all my potential and is excited to help me reach it. My ideal home will be active with a securely fenced yard where I can run safely. I’d love someone who is home much of the time and who understands that exercise, structure, and training will bring out my very best. Because I can be boisterous and play rough, I need to be your one and only, with no cats and no young children I might accidentally send flying with my happiness. Yes, I’m a lot of Beau. I’m also affectionate, playful, wonderfully goofy, and eager to learn. Beneath all this untamed enthusiasm is a very good boy waiting for someone to show him how good he can be. I already have all the toys I need. Now, I’m looking for the person who will help me become the Golden I’m meant to be.
