Hi, I’m Banks. With a name like mine, you might expect me to offer financial advice. My specialty is investing time in a good sniffari. The returns are excellent. I’m seven and lately I’ve been discovering something rather wonderful ~ companionship. When I first arrived, I preferred doing my own thing…I was aloof. Now, I seek affection and offer lots of kisses. I enjoy walks, swimming, and chasing toys. I don’t have a favourite toy…yet! If you throw it, I’ll consider its application. I also enjoy playing with my canine pals. Afterwards, I’m happy to settle down to a good nap. I travel nicely in the car and rarely bark, although an occasional excited grunt may escape. Why use a whole ‘woof’ when a grunt will do? There’s something important you need to know: I have bitten in the past. Golden Rescue will discuss my history openly with anyone interested in me and we’re really hoping this is a thing of the past. I hope you won’t hold it against me ~ I goofed and I’m sorry. As such, I need an experienced, patient, adult household ~ someone who will respect my boundaries and give our relationship time to grow. A compatible canine companion might be lovely, with a careful introduction. I know ‘sit’, ‘down’, and ‘leave it’ and I walk well on the leash; however, fascinating smells shorten my attention span. I’ve come a long way and there’s more life I’d love to share ~ ordinary walks, little adventures, quiet evenings, and those kisses I’ve become rather fond of giving. I’m banking on someone wanting to know my whole story…and being part of the next chapter.
