Treasure isn’t just my name…it’s what I’m looking for. I’m a handsome 6-year-old boy with a heart full of gold. When I first arrived at Golden Rescue, I was pretty timid and unsure about this big, confusing world. But thanks to my amazing foster family, I’ve discovered something wonderful: people can be kind, couches are magical, and life is actually great. These days, I’m feeling much braver. I’m still a little shy when meeting new people, but once I know I’m safe, my sweet personality starts to shine. My foster family says I’m a fast learner, although between us, that leash-walking thing is still under negotiation. I prefer to think of it as ‘creative walking’. I absolutely love my stuffies, my ball, and car rides. I’m not a big barker, loud noises don’t bother me, and I can happily stay home alone while you go out and earn treat money. I’ve got a fun, energetic side and would love an active family to help me burn off some zoomies, but I’m equally talented at couch cuddling and snuggling up beside you after a busy day. Oh…and if you enjoy brushing, I am VERY supportive of this hobby. Here’s what my foster family says about me: “We have grown very attached to Treasure. He is genuinely a great boy.” Awwww…right back at you! Thank you for helping me feel safe, loved, and happy again. Now, all I need is my forever family ~ the greatest treasure of all.
