Hi everyone, my name is Aliza and I’m a 2-year-old girl. When the good people at GR took me in, I had no experience being in a home so everything was foreign to me. I wasn’t even house-trained and that’s still a work-in-progress. Sorry about that. I need to have a crate, which I love, and I would never make a mistake in there so you’ll have to put up with my potty training until I figure that out. I had no social skills and of course no training. I didn’t even particularly like other dogs. So, my amazing guru dad sure had his work cut out with me. It didn’t take me long with his love and encouragement to start to understand all your human ways. I am actually not bad on the leash for example. I now love other dogs and enjoy playing with them for hours. I am starting to understand what you are looking for in a companion and my goofy side is starting to show. I love my walks and hikes and I love running and playing in the back yard. In fact, my dad says I’d make the perfect back yard girl where I could play to my heart’s delight…and having a happy, playful canine pal would be amazing. I have become an expert cuddler so isn’t that a good thing? I am not a high energy girl…in fact, I’m pretty calm and relaxed for my age. Here’s what my foster dad says about me: “Aliza is a funny, charismatic girl with a wonderful smile. She is sweet, affectionate, and gentle and shows her gratitude every day.” Yes, I sure feel grateful. Thank you so much for taking me in and helping me become the happy girl I was meant to be. I’m not quite there yet but it’s close. So, if you have love and patience, I may just be your girl.
