Hi everyone, my name is Marshmallow or Marshy as I’m often called (which is a much more dignified name for a male ha-ha). I’m 2 years old. My amazing foster mom says “These chilly temperatures call for hot chocolate and marshmallow”. I sure like it when she says that ~ makes me feel all warm and squishy (get it…squishy like a marshmellow…not that I’ve ever had one?). When I first met the good people at GR, I was really anxious, panted a lot, and wouldn’t eat. It didn’t take me long to understand everyone, especially my foster family, only wanted the best for me and I settled in nicely. I have to admit I do have tons of energy so I need a lot of stimulation. I love to play so a play-buddy would be ideal. I particularly like rolling in the snow so it’s safe to say that winter is a season I love…which is good since I’m a Canadian. I love people and other dogs although I can be a bit impolite with some female dogs (I’m working on that). We’re not sure about cats but I think I lived with a cat in my previous life but because I chase critters, we’re really not sure. I am also learning my commands and trying to improve my leash skills. My foster family thinks it would be best if I found a family with a big fenced yard so I could burn off energy running around the yard…and rolling in the snow of course. I am just generally a very happy boy. Here’s what my mom says about me: ”Marshy is a sweet, fun-loving boy with lots of energy. He just wants to please and make you laugh.” That’s right…as The Beatles say: “Please, please me, like I please you.”
