Hi everyone, my name is Bentley and I’m a 3-year-old boy. When I first met the kind people at GR, I was overweight. I hadn’t had much socialization with other dogs and I had bad allergies. I also didn’t understand the leash thingy and had some separation anxiety. Today, with the help of my amazing foster family, I am so much better. I am losing weight. My allergies are much improved with a diet change. I am getting better on the leash. I now like playing with other dogs and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. Big improvements, right? I am very affectionate. I love my family. I am gentle and very patient around children, although because of my size I can be a bit intimidating to small children. I love playing fetch and tug-of-war and I love running around in open spaces so a big, fenced yard would be amazing. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Bentley is a loving gentle giant whose soulful eyes will capture your heart immediately. He’s the kind of boy who wouldn’t just join a family…he would become the heart of it.” Aw shucks ~ that’s awfully nice to hear!
