Hi everybody, my name is Scooby and I’m an almost 2-year-old boy. When I first met the good people at GR, I was very nervous and I had literally no training so I was a bit of a challenge. I still had a lot of those unwanted puppy behaviours that should have been behind me by now…like jumping up and nipping/mouthing. I have come a long way since then with the help of my amazing foster mom. I am learning the leash thing and I am starting to understand your commands. I do need a strong leader to show me the ropes and because I’m still in training, best not to have kids in the home. I am smart so don’t worry, I’ll learn quickly but I need to respect my leader to make me feel safe. I am actually anxious to please; however, I am still a puppy in many ways, so I need you to be patient and strong with me. I have lots of energy so being with an active family would be ideal and if you have another playful dog in the family that would even be better. I do love people and other dogs…I just need more discipline. I love my life and I’m a very happy boy. And I’d love to go with you anywhere…and guess what my favourite car is…a Scoobaru of course (ha-ha)…but I can be left at home with no issues. My foster mom describes me as a sweet, happy, affectionate, and healthy boy who absolutely loves everyone. I think she hit the nail on the head so I’d love to meet you and prove to you how good I can be…with your help!
