Hi everybody…my name is Piper and this is my sister Bella. We are two, 3-year-old sisters who have been together since birth. When we first met the good people at GR, we were very dirty and overweight. It didn’t take long, thanks to our amazing foster family, to get cleaned up and on a diet. We are both losing weight but still have a way to go. We are big girls and the vet thinks we might have some Pyrenees in us (which would explain our size) but we sure look and act like Goldens. We are both big cuddlers and we love people. We also love other dogs and cats are probably okay with us as well. We are very adaptable so we can easily be couch potatoes or more active if that’s what you want. We love to please so just tell us what you want and we’ll figure it out.
We do take up a bit of room so a condo probably won’t be ideal and just because of our size maybe we should be the only dogs in the house. The reality is we are very easy to please and very easy to look after. Our needs are small and we never cause a fuss…basically, we are almost perfect. You can leave us alone if you have to go without us. We don’t like loud noises but we don’t freak either. We are gentle with our treats and are even pretty good on the leash. I might be a bit more outgoing than Bella, who can be a bit cautious with new encounters, but we are both easy-going and friendly. Here’s what our foster mom says about us: “Piper and Bella are a lovely pair of sisters. They are sweet, sensitive, people pleasers. They are very adaptable and just want to fit in. They are easy to care for and love.” Yes, we just want to fit in and be loved. We promise to pay back the love tenfold.
