Just wanted to let you know that Bella is doing very well. She’s a sweetheart and very, very well behaved. It’s been great getting to know her. No issues whatsoever ~ she listens, is eating well, is very affectionate, and is good on leash. She is now 48 lbs and in great shape. One unusual trait ~ she is quite content to sit and watch the birds, squirrels, and other wildlife through our back fence. We back onto a creek so there is plenty to see. She’ll stay there for as long as we let her. We’ve never seen a dog that is so content to just chill and watch the world go by. So, in conclusion, she’s settled in and an absolute joy to have around. Our sense is that she is still uncertain if this is her home and she continues to wonder if she’s going to be moved to a new place, especially when getting in the car, but obviously that will fade with time.
