Hi everyone, my name is Leo and I’m an 8 year-old- boy. When I first met the good people at GR, I was quite a mess ~ overweight and my fur was in terrible shape. I had hot spots all over my body and I had lost clumps of hair everywhere. With the help of my amazing foster family, I’ve been totally transformed. I have lost 15 pounds. My fur is in great shape now and it’s growing back beautifully. My leash walking skills, which were non-existent, are now pretty good. I am so grateful to everyone and I feel amazing. I’ve actually been called a handsome dude…how great is that! I absolutely love all people, dogs, children, and even cats are fine with me. I am gentle with my treats. You can touch me anywhere. Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to go out without me. I love being made a fuss over. I love the car and can still jump into it just fine. What I love the most though are swimming and balls. I am a bit of a couch potato but I need my walks so I can keep my new trim figure. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Leo wants nothing but love. He was a welcome member of our family from day one. I have no doubt he will do well with any new family.” That’s so good to hear and I’m excited about the new chapter of my life coming up.
