Hi everybody…my name is Cherry and this is my sister Shelby. We are both 3 years old and the good folks at Golden Rescue believe we are Golden Doodles. We don’t shed very much so you won’t have to use the vacuum cleaner too often (teehee). Actually, the vacuum doesn’t bother either of us nor do any loud noises for that matter. In our previous life, our mommy sadly passed away and our dad worked a lot, so we were used to being left alone. In fact, we had this self-feeding device and an in-and-out doggy door so we’ve learned to be quite self-sufficient. Having said that, we LOOOOOVE human company and being made a fuss over as we are both real cuddlers. I think it’s safe to say that I am the boss and Shelby is okay with that…so we get along famously. Shelby loves her food and tends to be a gobbler at mealtimes. Me? I eat a lot slower and am not obsessed with food at all. We are very used to being in a big secure yard and still need leash experience, so the leash thingy is definitely a work-in-progress. We need a secure yard as we are smart and have been known to find a way out. We’re actually not trying to run away from you and our recall is quite good ~ we just love our adventures and we’re curious about what might lie beyond our borders. We don’t really like other dogs so we would be best if we were the only pets in the home. We love car rides and will settle right down into the backseat and not bother anyone. The doc says we are very healthy and our wonderful foster mom describes us as “lovely, sweet girls who are completely bonded to each other and love to be in our company.” We really are looking forward to the next chapter in our lives.
