Hi everybody, my name is Talia and I’m between one and two years old. I don’t know what I did but my previous owner just left me at the dog park. This was really, really scary and I’m admittedly a nervous wreck. GR rescued me and I will be forever grateful. Each day, I am getting more confident but it has been a tough journey. You would need to be patient with me as I learn to trust again. I do love my foster family and I am a total cuddle bunny and can be pushy for affection. I am very petite…only 40+ pounds. I am a lover not a fighter and I get along with all humans and all dogs. I am just cautious around new situations. I do love my bed and my toys but I’m not possessive. It would be amazing if you had a secure back yard where I could run free and gain my confidence. The reality is, if you choose me, we would be working together to get me to become a silly, goofy Golden that I know I can be. Here’s what my foster mom says about me: “Talia is full of love to give. She does not have a mean bone in her body. She loves affection and attention from people and will even approach strangers now.” You see, my lovely foster mom thinks I’m getting better every day. Because of all of you, I’m learning that the world is not a scary place and hopefully I’ll learn to live in the moment soon!
