Hiya everyone…my name is Nugget and I’m a one-year-old male pup. My original family had to move out of the country and they couldn’t take me, so that’s how I landed with the wonderful Golden Rescue folks. My fabulous foster family has been showing me the ropes and everyone has been so kind to me. I’ve been having a great time ~ playing in the backyard and enjoying their cottage, where I LOVE to swim. I’m one lucky pup! I know most of my commands and although I still have puppy energy, I’m actually quite calm for my age. I think that’s because I’m happy and I haven’t had time to be sad about anything. I do love all people, other dogs, and even cats are fine with me. I’m not a big barker, you can leave me alone, and you can certainly touch me anywhere…I love being petted and fussed over. I’m curious about loud noises but they don’t freak me out. I’m gentle with my treats and not bad on the leash thingy for my age…how good is that? Here’s what my foster dad says about me: “Nugget is an absolute joy. He is adaptable, easy-going, can be left alone, and is ready for anything you want to do.” I could’ve sworn I heard them tell someone that I was paw-fect but you probably don’t want that going to my head (teehee)!
