Hi everybody, my name is Bailey and I’m a 3-year-old boy who loves the snow. When I first came into the GR program, I was quite a handful. I jumped up on people, didn’t like other dogs, and I had a thing called food and toy aggression. Today with the help of my guru foster dad, I have come a long way. I have learned the words ‘drop it’ which helps a lot…just never take anything out of my mouth. Tell me to drop it and all will be fine (and don’t worry, my foster dad will show you everything you need to know. My jumping up has improved; however, I still don’t like other dogs. The reality is that I’m wonderful and best relegated as a back-yard boy. I wasn’t good on the leash either even though a gentle leader helps. If I see other dogs on a walk, I go a bit cuckoo and that’s just no fun for anyone. I am happy expending my energy running around in the back yard so a big, secure yard would be ideal. I love all humans so if you can offer me limited exposure to other dogs, that would be perfect for me. And because of my
jumping and past guarding, kids in the home would not be a good idea. Loud noises don’t bother me, I can be touched anywhere, and you can leave me if you have to go out. The doc says I’m a big healthy boy. I am very friendly, happy, loving, and energetic and I’m looking for a second chance with an understanding family.
