Hi, I’m Jasper! I’m a sweet, handsome Golden boy, about 3+ years old, and a people pleaser deep at heart. My professional skills include couch cuddling, accepting physical affection like it’s a full-time job, playing fetch, going for hikes, and making sure I’m involved in absolutely everything my humans are doing. Basically, I have all the makings of the ultimate companion. I’ve made beautiful progress in foster care and I’m really starting to show who I am ~ affectionate, social, playful, loyal, eager to please, and very easy to love. No joke, pretty much everything appeals to me. Walk? Great. Hike? Amazing. Toys? Yes. Other dogs? Love them. Couch snuggles? Also, yes. Being left out of the fun? Rude. I did get a bit of a late start when it came to structure and guidance, so I’m still learning the finer points of life, like slowing down, minding boundaries, and not assuming every exciting thing is obviously for me. The good news is I’m a fast learner and I’ve already come a very long way. I just need a home that will keep helping me become my best and goofiest self. I’m a really lovely boy with a big heart and whoever adopts me will be very lucky. Honestly, I think I’ll be pretty lucky too.
