When we drove to meet Clark, we brought our Black Lab, Lewis, with us. They were besties and snuggle buddies right away. So, now we have Lewis and Clark and they are true adventurers. We have a forest behind our house with 15 km of trails. They get walked once or twice a day and love running through the woods. Clark settled quickly when we adopted him and we have worked on his recall and walking, both of which have really improved. I won’t lie…when you get a rescue, you do need to work on some things; however, in our case we were very well matched. He greets us at the door with a couch pillow, jacket or his blanket. Clark is the best snuggler and we could not imagine our lives without him.
