#4276 Brogan
Gender: female
Brogan is now 3.5 and calmer but still very enthusiastic about life in general. He makes us smile all the time. Brogan loves the outdoors and is content in any weather, although the lake calls him when the hot weather hits. Brogan is half Golden and half white Shepherd. He looks mostly like a Golden…with more white patches, a bit of a curl to his long tail, longer legs, and a somewhat longer face and snout. We think he’s very handsome. Brogan loves people and still finds it really hard to be calm when he greets anyone visiting the house. The fuss lasts only a minute or two and is slowly getting better. He is otherwise well-behaved and smart so training has been fairly easy with good results. We’re told that it’s the Shepherd in Brogan that makes him SO vocal ~ not as a barker so much but just generally in expressing himself. He’s certainly the most talkative dog we’ve ever had. Bob and I foster for GR and we are able to offer a friendly buddy for our fosters. Brogan is very good at guiding fosters into their new life and they often learn as much from Brogan as they do from us. One of our recent fosters even learned from Brogan how to ring the bells on the back door to signal to us that she wants out! We’ve also noticed that Brogan is protective of the fosters and seems to know that they need a little extra attention.
