Lucy, aka Lucy-Loo, is quite the girl who loves attention. Shortly after she arrived, we worked with a great trainer who helped us be together in a loving and respectful way. Lucy loves to chew, chase squirrels and chipmunks, and bark at anyone who dares to walk down our street. Due to her prey driven tendencies, she has torn her ACL in both hind legs. She has healed from last year’s tear but was struggling with the opposite leg. She has been fitted with custom braces to support her healing journey. Like a typical Golden, she is VERY motivated by treats and absolutely loves a daily kong. She loves carrots and is excited to see people when they visit. She is very vocal and active and sometimes requires quiet time when she gets too demanding. When we work from home, she loves to lay under the desk and naps through meetings. She is living her best life chasing balls and loves her fox. She spends a lot of time outdoors playing in the back yard, sitting in the snow, swimming at the cottage, and walking several times a day. Lucy has adjusted well to life here.
