Daisy has truly become a beloved part of our lives. When Daisy arrived in Canada in 2021, she and my mom instantly bonded. Now, Daisy spends her time with mom at her retirement community where she has taken on an unofficial yet vital role as a therapy dog for the residents. As mom puts it…she has become an essential part of the community’s social life. Her favourite spot to people-watch is in the bar and library, where she eagerly awaits pets, sweet talk, and the occasional treat. She absolutely loves the attention. Despite losing her right hind leg to cancer, Daisy has continued to thrive. She brings so much joy to everyone around her and we cherish every moment with her. Thank you so much to Golden Rescue for your incredible work.
