#3584 Lucy
Gender: female
It’s hard to believe that Lucy joined our family four years ago…time really does fly! We’re happy to report that our girl is great. Looking at her now, it’s hard to believe she’s the same emaciated puppy we saw in the photos from Cairo. She stole our hearts the first day we met her and settled into pampered life easily. Lucy melts hearts everywhere she goes and her calm and gentle nature has made her perfectly suited to therapy work. She joined the team at St. John Ambulance a little over a year ago and absolutely loves visiting with her fans…even if she naps through most of it. She also loves going on family adventures to the park, cottage, and beach. Dirt and bad hair days don’t bother her in the least and she really hates having a bath. Her best tricks include shaking a paw and jumping up on random picnic tables for treats (we rewarded her for it once and she’s never forgotten ~ typical Golden, always thinking with her stomach). Lucy has truly become the heart of our family and is absolutely adored. We tell her adoption story often and will be forever grateful to her sponsor and to Golden Rescue for bringing us together!
