#3455 Bentley
Gender: male
Bentley is doing wonderfully well. It’s hard to believe it’s been more than four years since he joined our family. We are now both retired so he’s loving having us home all the time, but we’ve also become empty nesters with both our girls away at university and I think he misses them. This is a funny side story, but I’ve been working on a movie script in my retirement and Bentley is in it. It’s a heartwarming Christmas movie of a community that rallies together to put on a nativity pageant. When the family barn, where the pageant is traditionally held, burns down, they decide to hold it at a local brewery and hilarity ensues. Bentley is the family dog and during the dress rehearsal, Bentley eats all the pumpkin squares off the table in the brewery. This is a true-to-life story. When we got Bentley, we fed him some pumpkin on his food to help with his digestive system as he acclimatized to Canada and on Christmas Eve, he ate half my homemade pumpkin pie from the counter. He never ceases to make us laugh.
