Lexi arrived in Canada in November 2020. From the moment we met her at the airport, we knew we had a special girl. On her car ride home, she snuggled with us and knew she was safe. Lexi is a very happy social girl. How she came to be in a shelter in Cairo we will never understand. She is happy to meet everyone who crosses her path. We started taking her to daycare as she loves to be around people and dogs. Our daycare runs theme days. Lexi participated in Cat in the Hat and Alice in Wonderland days. And of course, she was the Queen of Hearts which is so fitting for her. Lexi loves to dress up so we know these days are super exciting for her. We couldn’t imagine life without her. Her days are filled with love and camping adventures. She snuggles between us for a good night’s rest and never has to worry about anything as she will always have a full tummy, a warm place to lay her head, and love. We are so grateful to Golden Rescue for giving us the chance to love this girl wholeheartedly.
