Maggie Mae #3362

Gender: female

Status: Adopted

Within a month after filling out an adoption application, we met our Maggie Mae (Farah #3362) at Toronto Pearson airport. When it was our turn and we were called up as her crate was being opened, the first thing we saw was her tail wagging. And so, our love story began. Having Maggie was a blessing in more ways than one. I was later hospitalized for five months and Maggie was a source of comfort and joy to my husband’s aching heart. He would exchange silly pictures of Maggie with me and they would put a smile on my face. She even made several visits to the hospital becoming the star of the ward, loved by doctors and nurses alike. She was widely shared on social media by the nurses and I was forever known by the staff as Maggie’s mommy. She is so smart and sweet, but is definitely cheeky. The scars on her face only tell part of her story and we are determined every day to turn that story into a happily ever after.
