Hi everyone, my name is Polar and I’m a 7-year-old boy. Before I met the wonderful people at GR, I was not good with other dogs and could be growly and snappy with some humans. In fact some called me Bipolar, very unfairly, I thought. Today? I am no longer growly or snappy ~ sorry about that to those I wasn’t very nice towards. I am much better with dogs now, although I am still cautious around new dogs I meet and need to be introduced slowly. I love all you humans but when I meet someone new, it takes me a little while to get comfortable; however, once I get to know you, I’m a sweet affectionate boy. Loud noises don’t bother me. You can touch me anywhere. I’m not a big barker. I am getting better on the leash especially if you use a gentle leader. I still have lots of energy so it would be great if you had a fenced yard. It would also be amazing if it was more of a quiet household without another dog or small children. Here’s what my lovely foster dad says about me: “Polar is a very sweet and loving boy who loves affection and pets from his humans. He is very soft with a beautiful face.” I’d love you to come meet me and ‘polar express’ me home! Ha-ha!
