Our hearts overflowed with joy when Queen Lizzie joined our family in November 2019. At six years old, she arrived with a quiet sadness in her gentle eyes, hinting at past hardships. From the moment she stepped into our home, a transformation began…not just in her, but in us. With her goofy antics, little grunts, and gentle nudges, she is living her royal and best life. She has filled our lives with warmth and laughter. Despite coming to our home with no official training (she adapted with ease), she delights in backyard bunny searches and greets every passerby like an old friend. We’ve made it our mission to give her the royal treatment she deserves, but in truth, she has given us far more ~ a daily reminder of love, resilience, and the power of second chances. Our gratitude goes to Golden Rescue, whose incredible work makes stories like ours possible. We found a love beyond measure!
