#2873 Amanda
Gender: female
Amanda has been doing very well and is enjoying her new home by the water. She’ll be turning 9 this month (I still can’t believe it) and while she still has some of that puppy energy from when I first got her, she has definitely slowed down and become more calm. Now that she has a swimming spot in the summer within walking distance and a yard to play in, Amanda is getting to enjoy just being a spoiled dog. She has her favorite toy, her moose, that she brings us whenever she wants to play and grooms whenever she gets anxious. She has her own couch by the front window to watch the neighbors walk by and a window ledge in the back to watch the animals running through the yard. She has a routine that we MUST stick to or else she will become very vocal and start “talking” to us. She loves to lie in the sunbeams and enjoys watching the birds from her perch in the kitchen (I swear sometimes she reminds me of a cat).
Overall, Amanda is doing very well and has come leaps and bounds since I adopted her almost 6 years ago. Being able to see her personality shine through after all the work I did with her was so rewarding and I can’t imagine where I would be without her by my side.
