It’s hard to put into words; however, Dante has been an amazing, lovely, easy boy since the day we adopted him over 8 years ago. He is loved so very much by our family. He has never chewed or stolen anything in the house. He can be left alone and patiently waits for us to return. He loves being outside and does not seem to mind if it is snowy or raining. In the middle of winter, he will happily roll in the snow every chance he gets. Dante loves walking on the trail close to our house where he goes multiple times a day. He is very gentle and has helped children who are scared of dogs overcome their fear. His favourite pastime is swimming…he is a true Golden in that way. He also loves his food, with possibly cheese being his favourite but we have never seen him turn up his nose at anything except food with medication hidden in it ~ he cannot be fooled. He prefers his routine and is very calm in his own environment. We are very grateful to Golden Rescue for choosing us to be his family.
