Help Me Save My Friends!

Hi… I’m Prince #4995 ~ okay, technically I had help typing this! I hear the humans at Golden Rescue need a fundraising leader…someone with great ideas and a bit of experience, to help raise money so more Goldens like me can be saved. They’re already pretty good at fundraising…but they need someone to lead the pack and sniff out new opportunities ~ like grants, corporate sponsorships, and creative ideas that we haven’t thought of yet. And, you don’t have to do it alone ~ we can build a team of lovely humans to help. But you do need to be the kind of person who says, “Hey, I’ve got an idea…let’s try this!” If that sounds like you…please step up because there are a lot of wagging tails depending on it.

Time commitment: approximately 5-10 hours per month

Placement Team Admin

The placement team is responsible for carefully matching our Goldens with their forever families. Much of our incoming communication is received through a central inbox, where messages are reviewed, responded to, and directed to the appropriate team members. These emails include general inquiries, questions about specific Goldens, and adoption applications. We are currently seeking a volunteer to share responsibility for managing this inbox. The ideal candidate will have excellent written communication skills, strong attention to detail, and solid computer proficiency. You should be able to respond to emails with compassion and empathy, while maintaining confidentiality and respecting privacy. Full training and ongoing support will be provided by our team.

Estimated time commitment: 1-2 hours per day (with scheduling flexibility)

E-blast Team Lead

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented volunteer to oversee the planning, creation, and distribution of engaging email communications for our organization. This is a great opportunity to build a team while contributing to meaningful initiatives.

Education & Advocacy Team

Media Relations Team Lead

We need a passionate and skilled communicator to lead our brand strategy with media. You will oversee media relations and communications and develop content to ensure clear, engaging, and consistent messaging. As the ideal candidate, you are a creative thinker and have strong writing and editing skills. You are like a ‘dog with a bone’ in your desire to advance Golden Rescue’s mission and expand our reach. Your flexible schedule will allow you to dedicate the time needed to address time-sensitive matters promptly and effectively. Once you’ve identified your mission, you may want to create a team.
