Ron Howard
Ron is a treasured GR volunteer. He and his wife, Joan, have fostered so many Goldens they have lost count and they currently share their home with Scooby #3867. Their commitment to our Goldens has been unparallelled since 2010. Ron is a treasured transport volunteer who never says no to any request we’ve made. He has done many long-distance transports. He has driven to Alberta and Northern Ontario to pick up Goldens in need. No distance is too far for Ron. And he does even more ~ short-haul transports, delivering crates…anything we might need. Ron has a total can-do and fearless attitude. Blizzards nor wildlife encounters faze him either. That’s why we call him The Roadrunner. Another Ron Howard might be a famous Hollywood producer/director but our Ron is just as famous in our camp. Thanks Ron, for all you do. You are our hero!
