St. Jacobs Farmers' Market Welcomes Golden Rescue on September 17th

For the third year in row, we are very excited to be joining the St. Jacobs Farmers' Market to raise awareness for Golden Rescue! Join us for this great and fun event on Saturday, September 17th.

St. Jacobs Market is located in Waterloo Region and showcases over 100 vendors, including local farmers and Old Order Mennonites. The market includes a fantastic flea market and petting farm. Don't miss this opportunity to help out Golden Rescue, and then do some great shopping!

We need at least two Volunteers per shift,
with two or more Goldens:

7:00 am – 10:00 am
9:30 am – 12:30 pm
12:00 pm – 3:30 pm

An Event Lead is also needed to help set up for this event. This is a wonderful opportunity to reach potential adopters, foster families, and volunteers. It's also a perfect opportunity to raise money to support the significant medical expenses of Goldens coming into our program, and Goldens in foster care who are waiting for their forever homes.

This is a fun event, and the people love to meet our Goldens. We will NOT have a store set up, rather the focus is to spread the word about about Goldens and Golden Rescue.

Please note that the Market requires that all dogs are well behaved and on a leash at all times.

If you are interested in volunteering for a shift or as Event Lead, please contact volunteer(at)
