Adoption Alert ~ TJ #2680

Hi everyone ~ I am TJ and my age is nine and three quarters.  Not ten…nine and three quarters…just like the train platform in Harry Potter.  Yes, I know I’m a senior but I’m in no hurry to push my age.  I am having too much fun since I met the good folks at GR.  When I first came into the program, I was in pain, smelled bad, was very unkempt, and my head was down all the time.  Now????  Not any more!!!  I had nine bad teeth removed, got bathed and groomed and wow…I now see the world in a whole other way.  Thank you all so much!  Life is grand.  I love everyone I meet ~ human, canine, children, and although I’ve never met a cat, I’d probably like them as well.  I love my walks and car rides and I particularly love my food.  I love it so much I can open cupboards and doors looking for it so it’s probably best, although I hate to admit it, that you keep food well out of reach.  Silly that I actually told you that ~ darn it!!!  I know my basic commands and I’m actually pretty good on the leash as well.  Loud noises don’t bother me and although I’ll bark to let you know someone is coming, I’m not a big barker.  I used to have separation anxiety but I’m getting better being left alone a few hours at a time as long as you keep stuff out of my reach, especially food.  One thing I need to tell you is that I have suffered from epilepsy for many years but the pills I’m now on seem to control it very well.  Thank you again GR.  Well that’s about it for me except to say that I am now ready to find my forever family and if you have room for me, I promise to be a good, loving, grateful boy if you open your door to me.  If not, I could probably open it myself…haha!
