Adoption Alert ~ Muppet #2607 - Adoption Pending
Happy Thanksgiving…my name is Muppet and I’m five years old. My best friends FozzieBear and Kermit say I’m their favourite Golden. Maybe that’s because I’m the only Golden they know ~ however, they do say I’m a pretty cool girl. My amazing foster family also say I’m a good girl and I really do try to be good. I try not to be a bother but I do have one issue. My eye sight is getting worse. I need eye drops on a regular basis (which I receive with no problem BTW). My condition is such that I could lose my sight in a few years. It may not happen but it is certainly very possible. In the meantime, my sniffer and hearing are so strong that if I ever do lose my sight, I should be able to get around just fine. I am a superstar on the leash. I hardly ever bark. Loud noises don’t bother me and I take my food and treats very gently. I know all my commands and you can touch me anywhere. I love people, other dogs, and children. I don’t even mind cats but I probably shouldn’t be around them because of my eye condition. I do need to lose a little weight ~ I’ve already lost four pounds but I need to lose more. I love my walks but because I need to lose weight, I can tire easily. Having said that, I’m up to three kilometers a day ~ not bad, eh? As soon as I lose all the excess weight, I’ll be running the marathon ~ teehee. I love car rides and I’m starting to love the water. Although it is a little embarrassing, here’s how my foster mom describes me and I quote, “Muppet is trusting, easy going, fun-loving, loyal, a pure joy, and the best companion goofball you could ever wish for”. Now that’s pretty amazing. Mind you, Miss Piggy tells me she has had way better compliments than that (teehee).
Muppet is currently being fostered in the Toronto, ON area. If you would like more information about Muppet please call our hot-line toll free at 1-866-712-8444 or email and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
