Adoption Alert ~ Maisy #2600 - Adoption in Progress
Hi everyone my name is Maisy and I’m a bouncy, loveable eight-month-old girl. Golden Rescue got me from a place the call the ‘shelter’. I don’t know what I was doing there but I didn’t like it. Since I was rescued and joined my fantastic foster family, life has been terrific. They even saw me through an operation where I had to wear a cone for two weeks. That was no fun for me or them. I had something called an ‘inverted vulva’ (sounds complicated to me) but the surgery was successful. I’m still peeing in the house a fair bit so I need to be let out often. So, with time, patience, and a good routine of going out, I’m hoping this will get better and better. So, I really do need a family who is home most of the time so you can let me out a lot. And maybe not too much carpeting in the home…if you catch my drift! In the meantime, I’m continuing my education. I am told I am smart and eager to learn and things like ‘sit’, ‘stay’, and ‘drop it’ are becoming familiar. I am very sociable and love everyone ~ canine and human alike. I love my car rides, walkies, and just cuddling. And I love playing with my ball ~ I have a ball with it (teehee)! There’s not a lot more I can tell you about myself because I’m so young that I haven’t experienced a lot of life yet but my foster family says I’m a great girl. If I look at my life so far, it reminds me of that that great Beatles song, ”It’s Getting Better All The Time”.
Maisy is currently being fostered in the Thorold, ON area. If you would like more information about Maisy please call our hot-line toll free at 1-866-712-8444 or email and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
