Adoption Alert ~ Kaiser #2691 - Adoption in Progress

Hi everyone…my name is Kaiser and I’m around three years old (maybe a tad older).  I have been described as sweet, loving, and affectionate.  Those are really good words but I almost sound like a sissy.  I wish people would also talk about my macho side ~ I do have one you know.  I am strong…I am invincible…I am woman ~ oops, sorry, wrong song!  Okay, okay, so I am a cuddly, loving mush-ball kind of boy.  There’s nothing wrong with that, right?  I am actually a big boy ~ a hunka-hunka burning love ~ all 95 pounds of me.  Sadly, like Elvis in his Vegas years, I could lose some weight.  The doc says I could actually lose around 15 pounds.  Holy cow, that feels like a lot but I’m up for it.  My energy level is not bad but I think it would be even better after I lose those unwanted pounds.  So, let me tell you a bit about myself.  I love people, children, other dogs ~ everyone actually!  I know my commands and I’m not bad on the leash except I love to sniff EVERYTHING.  So, when I’m out on my walk, I stop to smell the roses and other stuff and I can be a bit stubborn as I like to take my time (after all, it’s MY walk, isn’t it?).  I like to sniff stuff at home as well so you might want to keep food well off the counter as it could prove too tempting for me.  I don’t bark much.  Loud noises don’t bother me and you can leave me alone if you have to out without me.  I am gentle with treats and love to be touched anywhere.  I can get a little itchy but a thing called Benedryl seems to help.  Well that’s about all I can tell you about myself.  I gotta go…my amazing foster mom just got off the treadmill and it’s my turn (teehee)!

Kaiser is currently being fostered in the Port Hope, ON area. If you would like more information about Kaiser please call our hot-line toll free at 1-866-712-8444 or email adoption(at) and one of our volunteers will be happy to return your call.
