Adoption Alert ~ Jake #2655 - Adopted!!

Hi everybody…my name is Jake and I’m eight years old.  I have been described as a big cuddly teddy bear but honestly, I’m not a bear, I’m a Golden!  In fact, I’m a very lucky Golden.  My amazing foster family have been showing me the ropes and I’m doing pretty well I’m told.  I could still use some leash training and this next one is really embarrassing…sometimes, if I don’t get out fast enough, I pee in the house.  Now this isn’t a regular occurrence and I’m starting to understand it’s a big no-no but I haven’t got this one totally sussed yet.  I’m sooo sorry as I must be the only eight-year-old on the planet who’s not housetrained.  Other than that, I’m pretty good with my commands.  I’m not a big barker, I can be left alone if you have to go out without me, and loud noises don’t bother me.  I am gentle with my treats and you can touch me anywhere.  I love people of all ages, other dogs, and even cats are great (my foster family has five of those little critters).  I love playing with other dogs but dogs that are a lot bigger than me make me nervous especially if they around when I’m eating.  I might even growl at them but overall other dogs and I are cool.  I love my walkies, car rides, dog parks, toys, and snuggling.  My lovely foster mom and dad say I’m a big, lovable, smart boy with a big heart and they call me ‘The Jakester’…cool name, eh?
