Adoption Alert ~ Jack #2564 - Adopted!!
Hi everyone…my name is Jack and I’m just over a year old. Now you would think by now I would have grown out of my puppy phase but I actually feel and act like I’m only six months old. If you like pups, that could be a good thing, right? If you don’t want the puppy exuberance then I suspect I’m not the boy for you. I still have a lot to learn and I know that. The good news, however, is that I’m smart and eager to learn. It’s just that my education got interrupted with my previous family due to illness and I now need to continue my education with a loving, savvy, alpha family who will have the patience to complete my schooling. I am told I am a handsome dude and very sweet to boot. I do love everyone I meet, except maybe cats. I think humans are great. I love other dogs as well but I need something called ‘socialization’ ~ wow, that’s a mouthful for me. That part of my education was missing as well. I know this sounds like a lot but, hey, if you had an actual pup, you would have to house train them and teach them a bunch of other stuff I already know. So, as pups go, maybe I’m not so bad after all. If you are a runner or have lots of energy, then I’m the boy for you. I have tons of energy and love running, playing, walkies, and pretty much everything life has to offer. Don’t get me wrong, I love cuddling as well so if you want to chill on the couch at times I’m also cool with that. I’m getting more used to the car every day and I’m actually okay on my own in the house if you have to go out for a few hours. As much as I’m enthusiastic and have energy to burn I don’t have an aggressive bone in my body. I do still mouth when I play but that’s the puppy in me. I wouldn’t hurt a fly, except I do like chasing squirrels but hey, what Golden doesn’t? Well, I think that’s about all I can tell you about myself. I have included a picture of myself so you can see that I actually am a big, handsome dude as advertised. Oh yes…I forgot to mention…I’m humble as well (teehee).
