Adoption Alert ~ Buddy #2624 - Adoption in Progress
Hi everyone…my name is Buddy and I’m six years old. I have been described as mature, gentle, quiet, well behaved, and loving. Wow!!! That’s a lot of good stuff, right? But here’s the bad part and I’m SO embarrassed by it. I have separation anxiety…BIG time! I don’t know why but I hate to be left alone. I also cannot be crated, so it makes it an even bigger problem. I am working on my black mark but so far it hasn’t gone away…not even a little bit. Golden Rescue has a medication plan ready to implement once I have somewhere to land and we’re all hoping meds will help my situation. This is making it very difficult for me to find my forever family. Can you help? I’m getting a bit desperate. In every other way, I’m a good boy. I don’t bark much…loud noises don’t bother me…I’m a rock star on the leash…I love car rides…I’m gentle with treats…I love being petted and brushed…I love people and children…AND, I even love cats. Big dogs are okay with me but I don’t like small yappy dogs so best to keep me away from them as I may be unpredictable. I have actually been described as the ‘perfect Golden’ except for this anxiety thing. So maybe if you are home all the time, you wouldn’t even notice this bad habit. I know it’s a lot to ask. I know my chances of finding a family like this are slim…but if you could just give me the chance, I will reward you with love and loyalty that will melt your heart and maybe we can work on my problem together. What do you say?
